Researchers already know that sleep can help us manage stress and improve health but it can also make you smarter. Science Big Wig stated that sleep can help us store and reorganize new info and memories so we can use them when we wake up.
Researchers at the University of York found out that sleep helps people remember and incorporate new info. To prove this a study was published in the Journal of Neuroscience identifying brain activity during sleep that help organize memories. A study was done where the participants were taught new words then took a test.
Then they went to sleep and their brain activity was studied. In the morning those participants remembered more words than the day before. Of course most people have problems falling asleep because of stress and other factors but there are ways to help that.
My question to you is....Do you think getting enough sleep contributes to a better memory and retaining information? Does getting enough sleep help you in school?

I think that getting enough sleep contributes to a better memory and retaining information. I know that I feel better when I have a good nights sleep and can focus more without yawning or just not being able to retain information. If I had the time to get enough sleep for school that I get on the weekends, I would be able to focus more.
Yes, I think that getting enough sleep contributes to a better memory and retaining information. I also think getting enough sleep helps you do better in school. This is true because you need a certain amount of sleep to function correctly and when your brain function correctly so does your memory and all your thinking methods.
I personally think that sleep does contribute to better memory and retaining information. I think this because without enough sleep your brain is not able to completely function to its full state. When I get a good full 8 hours of sleep it makes it that much easier to focus and learn in school. Rather then when I only receive a few hours of sleep.
I think getting enough sleep helps with memory because if you're tired during the day, you're probably not focused at all and slowly drooping your head towards the desk. Yet, if you did have a good night's sleep, not only are you more focused but you'll do better with future assignments as well.
Yes! I absolutely believe that sleep can help you remember things and help you hold more information. Sleeps makes you focused and when your focused you dont make as many mustakes. This is why school systems need to get it together and start school later in the morning.
I think getting enough sleep contributes to a better memory and retaining information because if you get a good night sleep it is easier for you to pay attention in class and not want to sleep through the whole thing.

Yes i do think that getting enough sleep contributes to a better memory and retaining information better and also help you in school. If you have a big exam coming up your teachers are all going to say "Go to bed early and get lots of rest." They don't say that just to say it. They say it because if you go to bed earlier instead of studying all night you have a better chance of acing that exam.
Yes, I think that getting a good nights sleep is important for school because when your tired its harder to pay attention in class. On the other hand a few nights here or there going to bed at 12 isn't bad. Sleeping and breakfast both will help people in the morning and will feel better.
Yes I think that getting a good night's sleep contributes to a better memory because you are well rested which makes it easier for you to pay attention in class. When you're consistently not getting enough sleep, your ability to do simple skills like pay attention is less than those who get a good amount of sleep each night.
Yes, i think getting enough sleep contributes to a better memory and retaining information. Sleep helps your ability to think and solve problems, because your brain and body get a rest. Getting enough sleep helps in school because it helps you get better grades. If you don't sleep a lot, you won't be able to think quick enough or higher level thinking.
