Jealousy: Love's Destroyer

Jealousy is the fearof losing something you perceive you have. Even though jealousy is a survival mechanism, its can be harmful as well to our brains.

The intensity that jealousy falres into burns a hole in our brains and affects our behavior, causing us to push away the person we desireto be.

Jealousy is said to be unavoidable by experts because all it takes is one insecureperson to "infect" the other. Jealousy is in no way connected to love, it's in fact just a test of commitment and determines whatwe value and how much we value it.

Knowing that jealousy is a strong survival mechanism, do you think it can be controlled?

to be honest, i think we all have some jelousy in ourselves its just plain human that we get jelous of one another, yet we say we dont we really do. i dont truly know if it can be controlled because i believe we do it without thinking.. it could be as easy as wishin you had the other person grade or their looks how they look better or somethings like that. its an uncontrollable emotion that can randomly pop up.

I believe that as much as you can say that your not jelous of anything of your just not that type of person.. it can't be contorlled. For example, if you were in a relationship and you saw someone else always with that person who could be a threat to your relationship, your going to get upset. That upset is jealously whether you think so or not.

I think jealousy can't be controlled because i think it's just like anger. We can't calm ourselves after we are angered by something. Jealousy is a part of our self. Jealousy is not bad all the time. Some people show jealousy through actions. It will be after sometime when we realize we were acting like that because of jealousy.
