“The real reason atheists have higher IQ's”
The article stated a few reasons why countries that are more focused on religion result on average a lower overall IQ.
My question is do you agree with this statement and why?

I do not think this is true. You have to have the basic level of education to focus on your religion. You have to be able to read your holy text, lisen, have a huge imagination to have faith in what your learning. So no I this this statement is false.
I guess I can agree with this statement. If you are very religious you will spend a lot of time doing religious things like going to "church" or "temple" or something like that, when you could be studing school subject matter. Also, I think that some religions contradict some things you might learn in school. For example, evolution contradicts some religions, therefore, a religious student might not do that well in that subject because it is hard for them to remember because it is not what they believe.
I dont know what to think to be truthful, Id love to see this article to see a little more of the informtion. I would like to see the rates for this per country because some places are more religous than others and some places people may have lower IQ's.
I think that if a country is very focused on religion then they are less focused on education with is where the IQ comes in which makes sense. Also, religion and things involved in the educational process such as the sciences tend to contradict eachother which could be the reason that the children in that country don't do as well in school.
I don't think that this statement is necessarily true. I think that being religious has a key role in having higher IQ level. Religion teaches a person a lot things, which can be useful. A lot of people who are very religion do have time for school and do have higher IQ levels. Having a high IQ level does not depend on religion, it depends on how that country's educational system is.
