As you have probably heard, Raymond Clark is being charged with the murder. The article suggests motivations that Clark had. Some suggested were a sexual motivation, a delusional disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, personality disorder or a possible history the two had.
Question: What do you think Clark's motivation was? Do you think we'll ever find out? If the police do find out do you think they should expose it to the public at the cost of causing the families more pain?

First, we must assume that Clark had a motive. There are strange people out there that don't really need one.
In my personal opinion, I think Clark's motivation was based on an anger issue that resulted from a sexual problem. Perhaps he was upset that she rejected him, ignored him, or was just female all together. If I remember correctly, I believe his old (or current) girlfriend said something about anger management problems. That could also be a major factor. Some people can not hold the reigns on their anger, allowing them to just explode in the social world.
I know very little about what the police have found out about Clark. Before "making up" a motivation for him, I would look into his background and see if he has a record. What he did that day might be explained by previous actions.
I think that we will definitely find out. Eventually. If he does not talk today. He might talk thirty years from now in prision--probably through an auto-biography.
If, by chance, the police do find out the real motive, I believe that they should ask the family's permission before exposing it to the public. After all, it is really none of our business.

I believe that unless the person confesses and discusses motives you will never know the true reason for a crime. I have always felt that very violent crimes always have a motive behind it. My guess is that he got caught doing something he shouldn't have and freaked out at the thought that she might tell and he would loose his job. I also think that causes like this as well as the Petit family murders last year, when a murder is in the spot light like this one was I think it causes the family more pain to see the details of thier loved one splashed across the headlines of every news station.
I think Clark's had to have a motive because most of the time a person doesn't kill someone else without having a reason for doing it. I do think that everyone woulld know what his motive was once the police find out because everyone would want to know. I think if the police do find out that they shpuldn't tell the public bcause that would just cause even more pain for the family even though everyone else would want to know what the motive was.

I couldn't tell you his motives, just because some people our just sick and crazy. I could never imagine ending someones life, especially in the manner that Clark did. And if the police find out, they're not going to intentially expose the information but the media is the media and it'll find it's way to the public somehow. I just think this is story is messed up in so many ways, I hope Clark gets what he deserves.

I do believe Clark did have a motive because otherwise there would have been no reason for him end her life. I hope that there is a reason found for what he did but the chances of him revealing his motive are very slim. I believe that if the police did find a motive they shouldn't release any information to the public because it will only cause the family more pain after losing their loved one.

i think that the reson why he did it was because he loved her and he didnt want her to get married to that other man. i think he thought that if he couldnt have no one should. so he killed her. i dont think the police are ever going to find that out. if i were him i would not talk.

When I heard about this tragedy on the news, I was shocked of how the story was set up. Since we don't know what kind of people they were, we can only assume there were some intense family issues going along. I believe Clark developed uncontrolable mixed emotions and got jealous of Annie planning to get married to another man. I strongly suggest police or the media not to give out any more information to society since it'll only cause hurt, fustrastion, and even get woman paranoid. Both families, without a doubt, are already shocked and fustrated with this heartbreaking event. This issue let everyone open their minds to danger and caution.

This story makes me sad to begin with. How can someone do such a horrible thing to someone when they've never done anything to you? I think that Raymond Clark could've killed her because he may have wanted to be with her, or he can be just crazy in general. He maybe wanted her to be with him instead of her fiance, or maybe they had a history in the past and he can't let go of it. This is the sort of thing that usually happens and can make killers, posessive husbands, and posessive wives kill as well. This story shows that anyone can kill and you can basically trust nobody in this world because you just don't know. You have to keep your guard up 24/7.

I believe the motive was delusion. I think he became obsessed with her and believed that they were in love. Conviction is a strong thing, since they worked together they must have known eachother on some level. He may have just created a bond with her in his mind and when she was going to get married it broke his distorted perception of reality.
I don't know what he is like, on the sanity level, but i assume if he killed this girl there must be something wrong.
