Personality: Dare To Be Yourself

A sense of authenticity is one of our deepest psychological needs, and people are hungrier for it than ever. Even so being true to oneself is not for sisses.

Authenticity or one's "true self"  has not been proven. Many psychologist and philologists have been trying to define on the actual term, but can't agree on one, giving it a mysterious matter. They are trying to prove how to find authenticity and why it is so important to people today to "find theirs". Yet that is impossible without defining what it is.

Can you actually find authenticity (your true self) or is it an unreachable goal?

I believe that people can discover their likes, dislikes, what they're good at, and so forth, however, these things are not particular to one single person. There are many qualities and attributes that make up each human being, but when it comes down to it, the similarities outweigh the differences. We each like to think that we are different than one another, and we are to an extent. But every human needs the same sort of attention and means to survive and live a productive life. We can be "true" to ourselves, but this doesn't mean we are the only person in the world with certain veiws, ideaologies, goals, etc. On top of that, people's views and opinions change depeding on circumstances and personal expirences. Finding your true self is never ending because we are always changing and morphing.
