Revenge of the Introvert

The article I chose was about the differences between introverts, and extroverts in society.

Introverts are the people who tend to prefer the safety of their mind versus socializing. They would be the students in a classroom who spend most of their time listening and not talking.

Extroverts on the other hand are naturally outgoing people, they get board easily by solitude. They would be the more talkative students in a classroom who always have a question.

Research show that introverts brains, are more active in the frontal cortex, which is responsible for decision-making, planning, and problem solving. This is partly why they prefer solitude. An extrovert’s brain on the other hand, shows less brain activity, that’s why they tend to seek out social situations.

My question for you is.... If you had to label yourself would you call yourself an introvert or and extrovert? Or do you think you are a mixture of both, and why?

I think I am both. I'm quite most of the time, but when the time is right, I can be off the wall. So I would say I am both.

I'm more of an introvert. I spend more time thinking than doing and it often leads to daydreaming and losing focus in the task at hand. I also tend to shy away from crowds of people.

If I had to label myself I would say I'm both. This is true because I act differently when I am with different crowds. I'm not always bouncing off the walls everywhere I go and I am certainly not the quite type everywhere I go.

If I had to label myself,I would say that I am both an introvert and extrovert. That's because I am a very outgoing person and I can be very social when I want to. But I am also a pretty quiet person at times and keep what is on my mind because I would rather not share.

I would label myself as an introvert. I like to keep to myself and I'm not the type of person who could just strike up a conversation with someone I just met.

I would say that sometimes I'm an introvert, sometimes an extrovert, depending on my mood at the time. There are times when I would talk to a complete stranger, and other times when I don't feel like talking to anyone, even friends.

I would label myself as an extrovert. I like to meet new people and I have no problem being in front of people. I like to be with people but I also differ from that because I do need quietness and alone time sometimes.

I would label myself as both an introvert and extrovert. When I don't know others, I am much more quite around people than when I'm with my friends. I need my quite time, but I also love meeting new people and going out. I would be more of an introvert because I cannot just sit home and read a book on a Saturday night. I need to be active and having fun.

I am definitely both because I will be quite around people I don't know or don't like, I'm also really quite in class. When I'm around friends I talk so much and I'm outgoing, so for me it really depends on my environment and the people I'm with.

I am going to have to say that I am both. I am very out going when i am surrounded by my friends so if new people come up to myself and my friends i am fine then i can be as out going as i want. Then again if i am by myself i tend to be a little quite and keep to myself. The presence of my friends being there make me the out going person that I am. Soon enough i will learn to be the out going person that i really am without them there all the time.

I'm more of a introvert then an extrovert. I would have a better time in my house than I would have if I went out somewhere. I do go out though just not all the time. I hang out with friends all the time. I like playing sports outside, and lots of other activities. So yes, I think I'm more introverted then extroverted.
