In this article it discusses a recent incident while leaving the mall. A man named Tom Boyle Jr. was sitting in his truck in a line of cars waiting to exit the parking lot of a shopping mall. As him and his wife sat there waiting, they saw a car turn out of the lot with sparks flying out from the back.
Tom Boyle Jr. sees a bike under the car and along with it is a bicyclist. Before he knew it he jumped out of his truck running after the car. Banging on the trunk of the car to get the driver to stop, the car comes slowly to a stop. Under the car he hears the bicyclist screaming for help. Tom slowly lifts the end of the car; as the boy yells keep lifting he does just that and all of the sudden you hear from under the car, “it’s off me!”
Someone then comes over and drags the bicyclist out from under the car. The boy is bleeding badly, Tom then holds the bicycles until the ambulance came. He then walked to the curb and sat down, physically drained he felt like he was going to throw up. He walked back to his car and had his wife drive him home.
My question to you is do you think that stealth super-powers is real as in that people are able to do unbelievable things in extreme times?

Yes I do think that stealth super-powers are real. This story tell it all. Tom Boyle Jr was able to lift the heavy car because his adrenaline was at a high. When in a bad situation your body relases adrenaline to either deal with a fight or flight situation. Because of that, this is why Tom was able to rescue the bicyclist from death.
Yes I do think that super-powers are real. I think when people are in certain situations when someones life is at stake, people will do any and everything to say them. I know that if anything ever happened to my little brothers I will do everything in my power to help. For example my couch is very heavy, and I can never lift it by myself, and one day my little brother leg was stuck and I found the strength to lift it.
No, i believe that people have hidden strengths that they can access in certain situations such as this. With an adrenaline rush you may be able to release alot more energy than you usually can, but that doesnt mean you have "super powers" if my friend was introuble on the other side of town, that doesnt mean im going to be able to fly to her or teleport to save them. They didnt even say how this guy was or if he was built, for all we knew, he couldve been a body builder that lifts two times his own weight.
Yes i do think it is real because people get that adrenaline rush when something happens and they do not think about their actions. I have not experienced it but i have hear of many situations with other people that have. And i do believe people can end up doing crazy things like lifting objects that are way too heavy for them. I'm not saying that they can lift something like a train or a building, but other things that they would never think they can lift may be possible.
According to this article, being able to do extreme tasks in extreme situations must be possible. No average person like the person in this article is able to life a car high enough for someone to get out from beneath it. Adrenaline has been proven in the past to allow people to withstand extreme situations. So through adrenaline, I believe people can accomplish tasks such as lifting a car.
I would generally think that what this artcile discusses is true. You always here about miraculous stories about people saving other peoples lives, or other people getting lucky in difficult situations. I believe that this is because the people in these situations have so much will power that they could do anything. Even something as crazy as lift a heavy car off of themselves.
Yes, I do believe that there is some kind of power that can make someone in the time of need do something they normal couldn't do. It is pretty crazy that someone would be able to lift a heavy car, but I think it is possible. There have been many other miracle stories before so why would all these people lie about things like these? Maybe its just luck, or there really is a power that can help people out in a time of need.
To a certain extent, I think people are able to have stealth super-powers. It is hard to say that we don't have them when not many people are put into that kind of situation to actually show they have that kind of ability but then again i do have my doubts since not many people are even able to show it even if they are put into an extreme situation like that. I do believe people have stealth super-powers but it really depends on how bad the situation is.
Yes, I believe in certain situations the adrenaline will give enough energy to lift a lot more then your original strength. It all depends on the weight and the amount of time that is left in the certain situation. Say someone slipped off a ledge and was hanging, if you cant usually do a pull up you probably will be able to get up.So yes, I think that put into a certain situation people can do miraculous things.
Yes, people can gain extraordinary strength and can do things that they'd never be able to do unless they had adrenaline. Also the extreme strength usually comes in a time of need or desperation that is usually life saving and supper strength is necesary to live.

Yes, I do believe the at the right moments, people can have super human strength to do incredible things. I consider it a life or death situation when all of the adrenaline in your body rushes out and you have strength that you would not normally have. I watched a video of different times that this could happen in Biology last year, and I believed it. Because if I were to be in a situation where I knew that I could potentially die, I would put every last ounce of strength that I had into living.
Yes, I do belive that people can have super powers and do the unthinkable when they are in situations where adrenaline is pumping and somehting is at risk, either thier own life, being harmed or something friegtful. I support this becasuse thier where times where i did things i couldn't imagine doing today and when i try to go back and do them it seems impossible, so i would have to blame this on adrenaline.
I agree 100% with Zacharias and others above when it comes to if people have super powers under certain situations. People do not always have super powers, these only come out during extreme events, such a car landing on your son/daughter. I believe that people gain the ability to exceed their physical limits under life or death situations, and in very high stress environments. So in all, I most definitely believe that under certain circumstances, super powers can shine through in a person.
I do believe 100% that people can do unbelievable things when they are under certain sitations. I believe that people do not have super powers at all times, the powers come out in ceratin situations. For example, if a car ran over a little boy, the person watching may be able to lift the car up so the boy could survive. Overall i believe that many people do things out of adrenaline and that some people have super powers when the situation calls for them.
I believe that people do have steathy super powers. Adrenaline cause a fight or flight response that allows people to do thing they normally couldn't. One man lifted one side a helicopter because he was so pumped up on adrenaline. I don't think its a super power, but I believe that adrenaline causes people to do things they normally couldn't.

Yes, I do think that this is real. This is because when peoples adrenaline kick in, they are given more energy. Although, this has not happened with me, I do think it happens to others. That is crazy that the person lifted up the car, but it's crazy what can happen when you're adrenaline is pumping.
I do think that crazy things can happen when your adrenaline kicks in and takes over you. You never hear of people lifting cars in everyday life because its jus unheard of. Your body is the most amazing thing in the world and its old job is to do stuff benefitical to you. With that said when you are in situations such as this man your body will go to great lengths and i feel that is truly amazing. Also, i hope to experince something like this in my lifetime.
Yes, I believe that people have super strength powers when a situation is presented. There are always stories heard that someone has done something incredible like saving someone's life because it was in the moment. I think it is all adrenaline causing this but lifting a car or saving someone’s life can happen.
Yes, i believe that stealth power is real and that people are able to do things at extreme times. When the adrenaline kicks in, people can do unbelievable things that can be shocking. For example, this lady lifted up a car to save her son, there was a man who lifted a helicopter too. In serious situations, we don't even think before acting, we just do it. I think its natural human behavior where you don't have to be strong but when there's something serious going on, your brain and your whole body use all the energy that you have.

Of course I believe in undiscovered potential within everyone. In this situation, however, this hidden potential is undoubtedly adrenaline. There are similar stories of mothers who moved cars to reach their children and what not.

Stealth "Super-Powers" are definitely real but they are not super powers like Superman has. When this happens it is called a super adrenaline rush. During a moderate rush of adrenaline your adrenaline glands release adrenaline to the bloodstream. During a super adrenaline rush, super strength and super powers come from an uncommon reaction where the liver releases all its glucose and gives us enough energy to use up to 70-85 percent of our muscles (instead of the usual 10-15 percent we use) and we have enough power to move two ton cars. This happens when someone is under severe trauma or distress.

I agree that people do have super strength when in extreme situations. On every base they would not be able to pick a car up but that man was so worried about the person under the car that he found that power to get the car up from on top of the bicyclist. But I definitely know not every one would find the power to do so. But some people can find a strength they never know they had till in the face of danger. Adrenaline is a powerful chemical that the body sends off them a person is high rated or they are scared about ones life and I think it has a lot to due with what the man was able to do that day.
I do believe that people who are in life-threatening situations can access super powers. If they have enough adrenaline than they can become stronger or faster. I've heard of these kind of stories before. This is an example of how people can do amazing things when in dangerous situations.
Superpowers: The ability to do things others can't. Hell yeah, that's real. But only in a sense. People can lift cars when adrenaline goes through them. Some people can tear phonebooks without adrenaline. Unreasonable strength can be considered a superpower, but it ain't exactly shooting beams through your eyes, is it?
I think super-powers are real only in certain circumstances. We just watched a movie in Anatomy about a guy who was rock climbing and all of a sudden the rock seperated from the cliff and he fell onto another part of the hill. It was on a downslope so he was sliding down the small hill about to fall off the side with the huge rock still in his hands. Then right as he reached the edge he threw the rock off with all of his strength and he lived. When your adrenaline is going that much you can have super strength. On a day to day basis such as just lifting weights people normally use only 1/3 of your actual strength. So when the time comes when you need to use it, you can.
I believe it is possible for people to have "super powers" just not in the way portrayed in comic books and television shows. When someone is in a position where their life or someone elses life is at stake, or is very scared, adrenaline pumping through their system can give them extra speed or strength when they need it. So yes, in extreme conditions people can appear to have super powers.
