In the article "Teens Sleeping and Eating" the author talks about the links between teens sleeping habits and eating. The article was about teens that sleep less on average eat more then teens that are getting the recommended time each night.
The scientists have found that teens that sleep less hours then their bodies need have a greater craving for fatty foods and sugary snacks. Researchers found out that for one hour more of sleep, the odds of eating or drinking high amounts of calories decrease by about twenty percent which will lower the chance of gaining weight. By teens sleeping less they are messing with their metabolisms which it slows down and it’s a gateway to weight gain and over time obesity.

My eating habits range. I think sleep does have an affect on one's person weight over time with lack of exercise and just poor eating habits in general.

I do have to agree with this statement. Personally, I think my eating habits are affected by smaller amounts of sleep. I tend to be more hungry with smaller amounts of sleep. I definitely think that sleep has an effect on ones weight over time.

My eating habits are that I eat a lot but I do agree with this statement. When I do not get enough sleep, I do tend to eat more to keep me awake but I do not go to the gym because I am tired. When I get the recommended amount of sleep I eat less, and I go to the gym because I am awake.

my eating habits is that i eat a lot when im out of school. When i dont get a lot of sleep i do eat because there is more time for you to eat. so i do think that your sleeping has a affect on how much you eat because of how much more time you get for eating.
For my eating habits, they vary everyday. It depends on what I'm doing everyday and how I feel. However I do see a link between not getting enought sleep and eating alot. For example a couple of weeks ago I was having a bad week and wasn't getting enough sleep, and when i was at field hockey or outwith my friends I was really hungrey. I can see the connection between the two better now.
My eating habits tend to change depending on where I am or doing that day. But usually, the foods I eat are healthy. Although, in my opinion I think sleep has an effect on one's weight overtime. This is because if your more tired your more likely to just want to eat things such as snacks, make poor eating habits, and not feel the need to excerise as much.

I think that my eating habits range depending on where I am, or even who I'm with. But usually I have a pretty consistend diet. I do think that sleep has an effect on a person's weight. I think this because if your tired you're more likely to want a sugary snack verses a healthy one. Also, if a person is up late, it's more likely for them to eat until they are ready for bed.

My eating habits change depending on what I'm doing that day. When I have a sport I usually don't have time to eat as much no matter how much sleep I get. I think general my eating habits are pretty healthy. I think there is definitely a relationship between the amount of sleep someone gets and their weight. It makes sense that someone who gets less sleep eats more fatty food because they need the energy to make up for the sleep that they lost.

No, i don't think that eating horrible has anything to do with not getting any sleep. They are two different 'cycles' or two different systems that really don't have to do anything with each other. I think you can eat really well and still not get enough sleep because of oter factors like staying up late. You can get a lot of sleep and still not eat well, probably because you're sleeping too much like i do.
My eating habits tend to change over time. I think that sleep really has an affect of your weight over time. If you do not sleep alot and you are constantly up you are most likely to eat while you are up.
